By creating an account or using ChatmyCV, you agree to these Terms. This template is not legal advice; please consult a lawyer for the regions you operate in.

1. What We Do

ChatmyCV helps you create and share AI-assisted portfolios. Specifically, the service lets you:

• Create an account with your email.
• Host your resume or portfolio by adding contact details, education, experience, skills, projects, and links.
• Enable AI to read your information and answer questions for people you share your profile link with.
• Understand that we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific career outcomes.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use online services.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have consent from a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your login details secure and do not share them.

3. Your Content

“Your Content” means anything you upload to ChatmyCV, including resumes, portfolio details, and links. You own Your Content.

• You give us permission to store, process, and use Your Content to run and improve ChatmyCV and power AI features that answer questions based on your information.
• If you create a public profile link, anyone with that link can view the information shown there—you control what you make public.
• You confirm Your Content is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to share it.
• Do not upload highly sensitive information such as medical or health records, government IDs, bank or credit card numbers, or passwords/security answers.

4. How We Use Data

• We collect the email address you provide and the information you add to your profile in order to operate and improve ChatmyCV.
• We rely on trusted third-party providers (for hosting, analytics, AI infrastructure, etc.) to process data on our behalf.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ChatmyCV for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Upload resumes or profile data about other people without their consent.
• Hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools without written permission.
• Violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

6. AI Content

• AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
• AI content should not be treated as legal, financial, or professional advice.
• You are responsible for reviewing and using AI responses at your own discretion.

7. No Guarantees & Limitation of Liability

• ChatmyCV is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost opportunities or lost data.
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $50 if you have not paid us anything.

8. Changes and Termination

• We may update these Terms or change/stop parts of ChatmyCV at any time.
• If you continue using ChatmyCV after we update the Terms, you accept the updated version.
• You can stop using ChatmyCV at any time.
• We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or misuse the platform.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
